Donny Hathaway’s Live is considered to be one of the best live albums of all time, solidifying him as a soul legend. Recorded in 1971 at his shows at The Troubadour in Hollywood and The Bitter End in Manhattan, this set includes his beloved covers of "Jealous Guy” and "What's Going On," along with his own hits like “The Ghetto."

Otis Redding's groundbreaking debut album, Pain in My Heart (1964), launched his career with his first self-penned hit, "These Arms of Mine," alongside beloved renditions of "Stand By Me" and the title track, "Pain in My Heart." This year marks the 60th anniversary of his fourth studio release, The Soul Album, a classic that showcases a masterful rhythm section featuring Booker T & The MG's, Isaac Hayes, and The Memphis Horns, and includes his enduring cover of "Cigarettes and Coffee."

Celebrating 60 Years of Sam & Dave's 1966 historic debut album Hold On, I’m Comin’, the eponymous title track was the duo's first to break into the Billboard Hot 100, followed shortly by “You Don’t Know Like I Know,” earned the album the top spot on the Billboard R&B Albums charts.

From sunlit harmonies to streetwise funk, Rhino’s Quadio captures the sound of the mid-’70s with four celebrated albums that helped shape the decade: Curtis Mayfield’s Back to the World (1973), Graham Central Station’s Ain’t No ‘Bout-A-Doubt It (1975), Modern Jazz Quartet’s The Last Concert (1974), The Spinners’ New and Improved (1974). All four arrive today on Blu-ray.

Each disc pairs the original quadraphonic mix with a hi-res 192 kHz/24-bit stereo transfer, both sourced from the original analog four-track quad master tapes, aside from Curtis Mayfield, which was sourced from a commercial quad reel. Available exclusively through Rhino.com and select Warner Music Group stores worldwide, each title lists for $24.98, or $79.98 as a four-disc bundle. Order HERE.

Following the lauded Superfly (1972), Curtis Mayfield emerged with his fourth studio album, Back to the World. Peaking at #16 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top R&B Albums, the album focused on social commentary and optimism for the future.

Graham Central Station released the soul-funk  Ain’t No ‘Bout-A-Doubt It in 1975, peaking at #4 on Billboard’s Top Soul Albums chart. Featuring the Soul Singles #1 hit, “Your Love,” and a new rendition of Ann Peebles “I Can’t Stand The Rain.”

The Last Concert captures the Modern Jazz Quartet at the Avery Fisher Hall in 1974, performing a series of their greatest hits. Featuring Thelonious Monk’s “Round Midnight,” George Gershwin’s “Summertime,” and Milt Jackson originals.

In 1974, R&B group The Spinners released New and Improved, their fifth studio album and third consecutive chart-topper, landing at #9 on the Billboard 200. The album also featured The Spinners’ first #1 Billboard Hot 100 for “Then Came You,” featuring Dionne Warwick.
